Paths to parenthood - report

Interesting to see the recent report from Total Jobs and The Fawcett Society - Paths to parenthood: Uplifting new mothers at work which shares some concerning statistics about the ease with which working parents are supported back into the workplace. Their research indicates that 84% of mothers face difficulties returning to work after maternity leave, with 30% receiving no support from their employer during this time. This latter figure is an improvement on previous studies but still considerable. As we detail in our benefits summary (below) maternity coaching, which the report recommends, is an effective means of supporting new mums back to work – and of enabling further career growth.
