Outplacement
Good quality outplacement support results in tangible personal and business benefits both for affected employees and the organisation:
Our commitment
For all of our programmes we make a firm commitment to you and your affected employees – we will continue to provide support to each person until they have secured a new role, for as long as it takes.
Our approach
Our approach is focused on providing dedicated, personal support from experienced career coaches. We provide practical skills development and emotional support to build confidence, encourage a proactive approach and guide candidates to be successful in effective career management, personal marketing and job seeking. We take the time to get to know each person, helping them to understand their strengths, needs, aspirations, skills and values; to take stock of their career to date; to help them find a fulfilling new direction; and to secure that job.
We provide both tailored support programmes and packaged programmes, as follows:
On-line outplacement ‘Get that Job!’ programme: support delivered through comprehensive online e-materials and up to two hours remote support (Skype, online and email).
Job search outplacement programme: practical advice and guidance for those who know the kind of role they are seeking and would like help in securing that job. Five hours face-to-face coaching support and remote support in between sessions (Skype, telephone and email).
Comprehensive outplacement support programme: career review, assessment stages and job searching support. Eight hours face-to-face coaching support and remote support in between sessions (Skype, telephone and email).
Executive outplacement support programme: as above. Twelve hours face-to-face coaching support and remote support in between sessions (Skype, telephone and email).
Director’s transition programme: as above, along with ‘first 100 days’ support. Eighteen hours face-to-face coaching and twelve months unlimited remote support.
Group outplacement workshops: designed according to specific needs; costs vary according to topics and numbers.
Participants on our programmes typically achieve:
- Affected staff are re-employed into suitable jobs more quickly and smoothly
- Employees are supported throughout the redundancy process, thereby reducing the distress experienced
- The negative impact that redundancy has on retained staff is considerably mitigated
- Providing good employee support in difficult times is good for your company’s reputation as a great employer and supports your longer term recruitment needs
