Our Maternity Leave Coach Panel

Balancing care for a family, developing a professional career, and having some energy remaining for you, can be tricky and demanding. Our maternity coaching programmes are designed to make it a little bit easier! Meet three of our maternity leave coaches who are ready to support you through the programme:
Sarah Jaggers
Annabel Purves

Sarah: I love being a working mum and for most of that time have combined being a single mum with a full-time professional role. Like many of us, I have been keen to build a successful career without compromising my daughter's needs and well-being.  It's a tricky balance to juggle and one which has certainly seen me in some interesting situations. Getting that balance right in a sustainable and productive way is achievable. Coaching through the maternity leave period and on return can help with focus, prioritisation, clarity, confidence and self-care.
Annabel: Combining work and family life is a challenge, but a challenge I enjoy (most of the time!). I have 3 children (2 boys and a girl, nearly 10, 8 and 5 1/2).  I have worked in several different ways since having children.  I stopped completely for a bit, I have worked part time and flexibly.  Work makes me feel like 'me' but only when I know my children are happy and well cared for.  Balancing the precious young lives of our children and our own professional development is a rich mix - sometimes amazing, at times a rollercoaster ride - but in my view one really worth striving for.
Lesley: They say if you want to get something done, ask a busy woman!  But I was really put to the test when I geared up for maternity leave, returned after 3 months to a new manager and a new role, and later became a single parent! Working in an international team with ever-changing priorities only added to the fun…  But somehow I regained my confidence, learned to handle the guilt and kept my career moving forwards. This ‘lived experience’ makes me extra keen to support women who are trying to keep all the plates spinning.
